The Central Coast Water Authority (CCWA) is seeking applicants for the position of Distribution Technician Trainee. We are looking for a team-oriented individual committed to learning, innovative problem solving and who is positive, approachable and has the utmost integrity to join our excellent staff.
The Distribution Technician Trainee will be based in the CCWA Buellton Administrative Office but may occasionally be assigned to any location along the 142 mile pipeline, extending from the Polonio Pass WTP in Santa Barbara County to Lake Cachuma in Santa Barbara County.
Salary for the position is commensurate with work experience and California Drinking Water Operator Certification Program (DWOCP) Certification level, as follows:
DWOCP Distribution Operator Grade 1 Certificate: $71,325 - $87,017/year
DWOCP Distribution Operator Grade 2 Certificate: $72,873 - $88,905/year
