Central Coast Water Authority (CCWA) is requesting bids for the Prefabricated Aluminum Stairs and Steel-Reinforced Concrete Foundations Project (Project).  The Project generally consists of designing, furnishing, delivering, and constructing prefabricated aluminum stairs and steel-reinforced concrete foundations for accessing the roofs of five (5) potable water storage tanks at three (3) sites.  The tank site locations include:

·         Webster Road, Creston, CA 93452 (Tanks 2 North and Tank 2 South)

·         Bishop Road, Casmalia, CA 93455 (Tanks 5A and 5B)

·         Polonio Pass Water Treatment Plant, Shandon, CA 93461 (Backwash Tank)

The Project contract documents may be obtained by registering as a bidder with CCWA. To register, email the Bidder name, title, company, email address and license number to Chris Wall at CTW@CCWA.com.

PRE-BID CONFERENCE.  Prospective Bidders are required to attend a pre-bid conference and a pre-bid tour of the Project sites, which will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at CCWA’s Polonio Pass Water Treatment Plant located at 5250 Antelope Road & Highway 46 East, Shandon, CA 93461.  CCWA staff will be present to conduct a tour of the site and facilities and answer questions. Please allow approximately five hours for the pre-bid tour of the sites.

Sealed Bids will be received at the Administrative Office of the CCWA at 255 Industrial Way, Buellton, CA 93427 until 3:00 p.m. on December 18th, 2024, and immediately opened after 3:00 p.m.  The General Public and Bidders may attend and witness the Bid Opening.
