Central Coast Water Authority (CCWA) is requesting bids for the Replacement of Energy Dissipating Valve Hydraulic Piping Project (Project). The Project generally consists of the demolishment and replacement of existing carbon steel hydraulic piping and hose assemblies connecting two parallel hydraulic power units to two hydraulically operated multi-jet sleeve valves with Type 316 stainless steel seamless hydraulic tube and compression fittings.

The Project contract documents may be obtained by registering as a bidder with CCWA. To register, email the Bidder name, title, company, email address and license number to Chris Wall at CTW@CCWA.com.

PRE-BID CONFERENCE. Prospective Bidders are required to attend a pre-bid conference and a pre-bid tour of the Project site, which will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at CCWA’s Energy Dissipating Valve Facility located at 4748 Orcutt Road, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. CCWA staff will be present to conduct a tour of the site and answer questions.

Sealed Bids will be received at CCWA’s Administrative Office at 255 Industrial Way, Buellton, CA 93427 until 3:00 p.m. on March 18th, 2025. Bids received will be immediately opened after 3:00 p.m. and the General Public and Bidders may attend and witness the Bid Opening.
